Camp Counselors (Team Leaders)
Camp Counselors are the primary mentors for campers throughout the week, building consistent relationships that help kids feel confident, included, and supported. By staying with the same group each day, they foster a safe, positive atmosphere and take responsibility for both the physical well-being and emotional experience of every camper.
Summer Instructors
Summer Instructors facilitate interactive design challenges and outdoor programming that spark curiosity and imagination. Using Galileo’s curriculum and supported by thorough training and a collaborative team, instructors bring learning to life, encourage creative problem-solving, and help make camp traditions meaningful and fun for every participant.
Assistant Camp Directors
Assistant Camp Directors partner closely with the Camp Director to keep daily camp operations running smoothly. They coach and support staff, step in as the on-site lead when needed, and help maintain a high standard for safety, programming, and camper experience. In this role, ACDs build trust with families, reinforce a positive team culture, and ensure camp remains an energetic, well-run environment.
