Indianapolis, here we come. HelloSubs is launching a brand-new market in central and southern Indiana — and we're hiring substitute teachers now. Get in early, choose the assignments that work for you, and get paid every Friday.
We're ramping up coverage across the region — including Indianapolis, Noblesville, Shelbyville, Anderson, Columbus, Bloomington, Kokomo, Muncie, Lafayette, Marion, Richmond, and Clarksville — at high school campuses (grades 9–12), including adult high school programs and a traditional high school, plus an early childhood (ECE) site.
Salary and benefits:
- $150/day for short-term assignments and $170/day for long-term assignments
- Direct deposit every Friday
- W-2 employee of HelloSubs (we handle taxes)
- Short-term, long-term, or in-between — you choose

- We'll reimburse background check and training costs

IN Substitute Teacher Requirements
Requirements for Substitute Teachers in Indianapolis
- High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree or prior experience is preferred for some assignments
- A teaching/substitute license is helpful, but not always required
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States
- Pass state and federal background checks — we reimburse the cost
