HelloSubs places daycare and preschool substitutes at early childhood centers across Dallas–Fort Worth — in Allen and Wylie in Collin County, and in Oak Cliff and South Dallas. You choose the centers and the days you work, and get paid every Friday.
Pay runs $12–$17 per hour depending on the role and the center, with weekly direct deposit.

Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher Roles
- Assistant teacher ($12–$14/hour): support the lead teacher in infant, toddler, and preschool rooms. Open in Allen, Wylie, Oak Cliff, and South Dallas.
- Lead teacher ($16–$17/hour): run the classroom for the day. Open at centers in Allen and Wylie.
Shifts range from part of the day to a full day (about 5 to 10 hours), so you can work around school, family, or another job.
Dallas–Fort Worth Childcare Job Requirements
- 1+ year working with young children preferred; candidates with less can be considered
- High school diploma required; a degree or college coursework is a plus
- No teaching license required to start
- Must pass state-required background checks
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
