Position Summary
As a substitute paraprofessional, you'll work alongside classroom teachers to help students succeed academically and socially. Paraprofessional is also known as: Teaching Assistant (TA), Instructional Aide, or Teacher's Aide.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Providing one-on-one (1:1) support for students with special needs
- Assisting small groups in inclusive or resource classrooms
- Helping teachers with classroom management, activities, and student engagement
Compensation & Benefits
- $120–$230 per day, depending on the assignment — Philadelphia paraprofessional roles often pay toward the top of this range
- Weekly direct deposit (every Friday)
