School Bus Driver

Key Responsibilities:

Safe Operation: Drive the bus safely, following all traffic laws and school district policies.
Student Management: Ensure students follow safety rules, maintain discipline, and address any behavioral issues.
Route Adherence: Follow designated routes and schedules, adjusting as needed for traffic or emergencies.
Vehicle Inspection: Conduct daily inspections of the bus and report any maintenance needs.
Emergency Response: Handle emergencies, including evacuations, according to protocol.
Communication: Communicate with school staff, parents, and supervisors as necessary.
Qualifications:

Licensing: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
Background Check: Must pass a background check and physical examination.
Experience: Bus driving experience preferred; training provided.
Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
